About The Penny Pinching Doc

Welcome to The Penny Pinching Doc! This term has a dual meaning. I’ve always spent my life being careful with money to the point where I wanted to make sure I never relied on anyone. The original word ‘doctor’ comes from latin ‘to teach’. However, in modern day usage, it is more associated with treating a particular problem!
“Penny pinching” as my father termed actions during my adolescent and early adult years, led me to build up money but with no plan with what to do with it! After a family trip to New York along with a newly founded dream to work in America, I started to ‘splash out’ on doing what I could to prepare for exams and interviews to work. Five years later…and after 3 years learning the tricks, here I am! And what a beautiful, fun and friendly country America is!
The Penny Pinching Doc blog is to help viewers with two things. Firstly to master the appropriate Penny Pinching ways since moving to the USA (moderation in life is key after all!) Secondly to manage the Penny Pinching with the best treatment possible…goals! Most importantly, traveling! So hang tight, make notes and enjoy the journey!
